Rafi and Mitu planted three different seeds. They ask a question: which plant will grow fastest?

Mitu says, “I think they will all grow the same.” Saying what you think will happen is to predict.

Each day they measure the plants. They stack blocks next to each plant to see how tall it is. This is a fair test.

They make a block chart. They share it with the class. Plant A grew fastest. Mitu was not right – and that is OK!
