Where do sounds come from?

Listen! What can you hear?

A busy bazaar

A market is full of sounds. Rickshaw bells ring. People call out. A cat meows.

Sound sources

A thing that makes a sound is a sound source. A drum, a bell and a radio are sound sources.

Your voice

Your voice is a sound source too. You use it to talk and sing.

Listen carefully

Close your eyes and listen. Can you hear rain? A fan? Birds?
