Parts of a plant

Roots, stem, leaves and flowers all have a job.

Plants have parts

Plants have many parts. Can you find the roots, the stem and the leaves?

Roots and stem

Roots grow under the soil. They hold the plant and drink water. The stem holds the plant up tall.

Leaves

Leaves are often green. A leaf uses sunlight to make food for the plant.

Flowers and fruit

Many plants have a flower. Flowers can turn into fruit. Fruit holds the seeds.
